Please select your topic of presentation or discussion or sharing. It can be anything like if you install GNU/Linux and what he felt and how you fix problem or just a share like I went to this ATM and that is Linux based Or your college project where other can put expert comments or just what you would like to tell.
You have good amount of time, appx 12 days, Please prepare and make a good presentation and let other also do same and have a another successful meetup.
- Eeish - is a Musician by profession he sees some gaps with special effects Plug ins, he wants to talk about the gaps and seek help from coders at the meeting in filling these gaps.You can catch him playing live live coming Friday
- Joseph K Puthooran - He is an Entrepreneur who deals in Vista he would like to talk about the software and his upcoming event in March more info about Vista from there community page.
- Ankur ,Vinay,Aditya - What is happening with Fossevents
- Vikash Ruhil - a full hacking presentation on Backtrack Linux
Installation Drive
- If you want to install Linux Distro then we are available - come with laptop, we will install GNU/Linux.
Purpose
Same as previous. Talk , Discuss, Participate, Present, Show your current work and involvement in FOSS. not a fix guidelines but it is open. Infact parallel room should be available for those who just want to see face and discuss or just a social gathering. ADD, modify the purpose guidelines.
Restriction of Meetup
- Do not promote non-free, non-foss stuff.
- Do not promote non-standards aka close standards
- Do not promote software patents
- Do not promote DRM
- Please try not to have debate or flamewars on these restrictions. Use the mailing list for this purpose.
- try avoiding Windows or Mac os
- ppt and pptx format based presentations are "strictly now allowed",alternatively you can convert the presentation in pdf or odt or any xml.
- Try using LibreOffice, S5, HTML, LaTeX, ASCII text
